Design

* Serration Patterns
Numerous factors must be taken into consideration when choosing a serration pattern: product, packaging film structure, line speed, packaging machine condition, operator skill, etc. Utilizing our vast experience, Greener Corp. is able to recommend the proper serration geometry to meet your requirements, with guaranteed results. Over 30 different serration designs are available, and all are precision ground on specialized CNC machinery to ensure quality and accuracy.

* Special Features
Special design features are available to improve seals and to provide more consumer friendly packages. For example, the fin seal relief and fracture elimination designs (FRED) accommodate the varying number of film layers and eliminate the excess pressure that can cause fracturing, weak seals or leakers.

Crimpers and sealing jaws can also be provided with a hole punch to produce packages for hanging displays. Various shape punches are available, including round, oval, sombrero and Euro styles.

Sealing Jaws for vertical baggers can be designed with a number of features to make it easier for consumers to open the package. These include a tear notch punch to put a slit in the top seal and 'easy open' serrations with a thumb grip to make it easy to separate the seal.
